Registration is Open!!

Woah! It’s that time already. We hope that you all are excited to join us in January. The link provided will take you to our registration site, once you are there you will enter your info and pay your registration fee of $75. Just to clarify, there are drop down menus to choose your workshops, both Saturday and Sunday provide time for a morning and afternoon session. The third choice is there just in case we reach capacity for some of the rooms, so pick one for that as well. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know!

We are also including previews for this year’s T-Shirts. Ideally, we would like to get an estimate on how many people are interested in purchasing one. They help fund future symposiums and are designed by our lovely and talented co-chair Kayla Staigvil.

  1. Couldn’t get it to work with IE9, but it worked with Firefox.

    A couple of suggestions:

    1) Blog titles list the class name, but registration lists the instructor name. Would be best if the registration drop-down listed both the class and instructor name, but if you can’t do that in the future, have the blog titles that describe each class show both.

    2) No place to say whether someone wants a place to stay. Is that assumed this time?

And thanks for all the hard work!!!

    • Hi Kathy, You are currently not paid. Our payment system is through paypal. When you registered it should have taken you to the PayPal website. If you do not have a paypal account, please make one and send your payment to We also currently cannot accept pre-payment for t-shirts due to the options given from our registration site.

  2. Hi,

    Are there still spots available?
Also, is there a daily schedule post? I’m trying to figure out travel dates and times?

  3. hi all, i rec’d a confirmation of my registration on oct 22, i think it was. but no other info. i’ve never been there, so i was wondering if it takes place on campus, what time things happen, etc. will we be getting more info? thx so much!

  4. Hello,

We will be posting a copy of the schedule soon, as well as more information on shows, events, and locations, here on the blog in the next coming days so stay tuned! Most of the symposium takes place on campus at East Carolina University in the School of Art and Design building, but we have many other events scheduled at different locations.
While we’re still fine tuning some of this information and can’t release it, if you look at the January 2015 archive, it will give you an idea of the events that we typically hold. Take care!
