This year we will be holding another exhibition over at the Mendenhal Student Union. In addition to the Tin show–more on that later–the exhibition will be of sketchbook pages submitted by symposium participants. It is our hope that this exhibition will highlight some of the creative ways that we document our ideas. It would be great if the piece that is shown in the student exhibition was also the page chosen for the sketch book exhibition, but it is not necessary. It is also our plan to create an example publication for the exhibition through Blurb.com. If you don’t know what Blurb is, you should check it out. It’s a pretty neat resource for on demand publishing. I hope everyone is getting excited for the symposium, and remember that the sketch book page we’re looking for is the one that best records your creative ideas, not necessarily the page with the best draftsmanship.
